All admissions to Somerford Primary are managed by applying to Dorset County Council. This is most easily done by visiting http://www.dorsetforyou.com/schooladmissions.
On this site you are able to find out if you live in our catchment area, make an application for a place and appeal if you have been turned down for a place. You will also find all policies and procedures relating to admissions and contact details for the admissions team.
We welcome visits from prospective parents and pupils and are sure you will receive a warm welcome and enjoy seeing the fabulous facilities we have to offer and the hard work and learning taking place.
Once you have been allocated a place, you will need to bring your child’s full birth certificate to school so we can take a copy. You will also need to complete a school admissions form.
