Animal Trackers in Somerford!
Animal Trackers in Somerford
In Year Two we have started a new topic called ‘Animal Homes’.
Last Tuesday the when the children came back from assembly they noticed some footprints outside their classrooms. They decided to investigate. The children were put into teams and became animal trackers. Each team had to find clues hidden in the playground and bring them back to the classroom.
They then had to read the clues to try to work out what animal had left the tracks. After they had read all the clues the whole Year group gathered in the Infant hall to find out what each animal was.
The children had a great time being animal trackers and they are looking forward to finding out more about where animals make their homes over the next few weeks.
