Goslings learn about Road Safety

Road Safety Week

In Goslings we have been thinking about how to keep safe on the roads during Road Safety Week.

We watched a video telling us how to cross the road using the Green Cross Code.  Find a safe place to cross, stop, look and listen for traffic and if it is safe to do so walk across the road.  We also said it was important to hold an adult’s hand,  “Hold nanna’s hand.”  “Cross with mummy and daddy.” “Hold hands to cross the road.”

Then we painted our hands to make hand prints for a display to remind us to hold an adult’s hand when we cross the road.

Finally we looked at our play mat and tried to find a safe place to cross the road.  Can you see we found the zebra crossings?
