60% of our children children achieved GLD.  Children will be supported appropriately as they move through KS1.

During the summer term every Year 1 child takes part in a phonics screening test where they are asked to read 40 decodable words. In 2024 88% of children passed the phonics test.  Further support will be offered in Year 2 for those children who did not reach the required standard.

Pupils achieving expected standard or above in :

      Reading : 59%

      Writing : 53%

      Maths : 57%

      Reading / Writing and Maths combined : 45%

      Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling : 51%

Pupils achieving an average ‘scaled score’ in :

      Reading :  101

      Maths :     97

      Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling : 100

Pupils achieving a high level of attainment in :

      Reading :  10%

      Writing :   6%

      Maths :   6%

      Reading /  Writing and Maths combined : 0%

      Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling : 8%
